Yeah I agree. And JVs confidence is also affected by it. Every time he misses a shot he's down on himself. His potential is so obvious but it just seems like he can't achieve it through bad coaching . I wish Casey or whoever would just say "if you are within this range and wide open shoot , within this range post up and for god sake no more pump fakes". Instead his whole game is high screen roles in which he also isn't used properly since half the time he rolls off and is open with good post position but still gets looked off. We need a coach desperately.

I hope the Nba considers reducing the number of time outs. I know they had an experiment game this year with 11 minute quarters and less timeouts. Keep the 12 minute quarters but reduce the timeouts IMO.

Yeah I frankly haven't seen much of the other side of the switch since around the 65 game mark of last year. I believe this team has a lot more to offer on both ends of the court but it's more of an issue of coaching than effort. Casey hasn't developed a system in which the team feels confident in which causes inconsistency in the way the offence is run each night. The best teams have players who understand their role and and then thrive within the task their given. Nobody on this team has a clearly defined role except to a degree Amir. And because of this the offence resorts to guys creating for themselves and taking low percentage shots.

Scott Brooks may be unorthodox at times but I think he's an overall decent coach. He believed in Westbrook when many people thought he took too many shots away from Durant and has created a system that allows both players to maximize their strengths. Let's see how this team progresses throughout the season. I feel like they can be similar to Memphis before the Gay trade. Lowey Conoly , Gasol JV, DD Gay and Ross and that defensive stopper on Memphis I can't recall his name , I think are all comparable players. And that Memphis team was a good team in the West. Of course we don't have Randolph but amir brings a lot of intangibles too.

Its all relative man. He can have his worst game of the season and he would still be more effective than Hanbrough.

I don't watch much basketball other than the Raptors and playoffs. But its hard to believe there are a lot of better coaches.

Lowry.. Not sure if he was subbed in at that point but if not he should of been anyway. Also having Hansbrough playing more minutes than JV in 4th is inexcusable.

Casey might be the worst coach in the NBA. Phil Jackson could get this team to contend. No hyperbole, so much talent so poorly managed.

Fair enough. Depends on what is interesting / important to the person. But when there are young impressionable kids who start to emulate ppl like Marilyn Monroe and statues and the like help immortalize her , then we got a problem.
