JV having a good first quarter.

Lets go Raps! This will be another big test. Hopefully they bounce back from that disastrous 3rd quarter against Chicago and get a W against a playoff team. So far the best team they have beaten is Washington without Beal.

Potential also means possible. Pillar/ whatever do not have the potential to be contributing baseball players and provide wins for this team. If Stroman under-performs or gets injured and Dickey starts acting 40 we still have guys like Estrada, Nolin, Norris, Sanchez and Graveman who can come in and provide one or two wins if not more (Norris/Sanchez). If we spend money on pitching and leave LF with a Pillar platoon it will be an error in priorities. With Melky or Aoki in LF, this teams offense and defense #Martin are good enough to overcome a slightly below average rotation.

KC went to the world series with Guthrie, Vargas, Ventura and Duffy. There are certainly some question marks with those guys. Sure, another starting pitcher, preferably a top end guy would be nice but with all the prospects at that position we should be allocating money to areas in which we have replacement level players and unproven youngsters- O.F.

There is no use debating it now. But i think his innate skill is just too much for him not to be an all-star next year. All the things he lacks are coachable.

JV will be an all star and the go to guy for this team by the end of next year, even with Casey's brutal utilization him. He is that good.

This lineup hasn't played particularly well. Bulls simply eased up and Gasol has only played about 3 minutes in the 4th.

Loss is on Casey. Chicago perfectly illustrates the difference of poorly coached to well coached teams.

The funny thing is our offence is also suffering without JV. He was in 70 percent of plays in the first half essentially setting a high pick every possession. Imo he was the most important starter the first half.

He's been fine on defense. Gasol is just good. And bulls with 2 offensive rebounds and gasol scores. Smh

Mcdavid out 5/6 weeks from fighting. Should be just back in time to participate in the WJs.

Yeah I agree. But i think JV has shown improvement defensively especially in boxing out and not committing stupid fouls. I could see him playing close to 40 minutes in the playoffs if he becomes more mentally tough and doesn't check himself out of the game after one missed shot.

I'm looking forward to see the JV Vucevic match-up again. In my opinion JV has taken a step forward defensively this year and it will be interesting to see if he will be able to improve on his first game against Vucevic.

Better defender and far better distributor. Cleveland also has a plethora of scorers and a past first point guard would be a good fit.
