In hockey some big forwards are so smooth that people think they aren't fast or trying hard...Rasmus runs so effortlessly that he may appear to be loafing..but he is really going all out... a remarkable athlete.
Amazing isn't it.
No one thought Boni, Dickey,Johnson,Lawrie and Cabrera could be this bad either.
And has any other CY young winner ever crashed as badly as Dickey the next year?
I don't care about this year.....but unless there are major changes...and with no prospects coming...the future looks very bleak....oh well...NFL up soon.
I don't think his age has anything to do with it.
Remember, Beeston was the money guy in the glory years....Gillick made all the baseball decisions....if Gillick were here and Beeston not , we would not be in this mess.
I would rather see Rasmus get thrown out at the plate than Bonifacio hitting with a runner on third and 2 out...or any out...it means at least they tried to be a aggressive....as in DO SOMETHING!!...
Agreed.
A good pitcher would have limited the damage...a fragile one loses his composure and doesn't pick up his teammate.
Who in the world scouted him and bonifacio?
Obviously they need to get a catcher....but where and for whom?
Any catchers available out there? And imo all he has to do is play decent defense and hit .250.
No team can compete with JPA as their starting catcher.
