I've never been super sold on Marisnick. I think he's a good prospect, but I don't know if he'll be anything that will be hard to replace in MLB.

A little off-topic, but at the Bisons game in Syracuse on Wednesday night Brett Lawrie struck out looking and then proceeded to give the ump a piece of his mind, even in a AAA game. It looked like Lawrie pointed to himself and asked the ump "do you know who I am?!"

I was there for both games in Syracuse, and I've been to 4 Bisons games in the past month. I think Gose just thinks he's too good for AAA and he has a horrible attitude (off-topic, but he refuses to sign autographs; I've seen him ignore everyone all season long both inside and outside the ballpark, definitely a rarity for minor league baseball). He was picked off at first in the game yesterday and it was a weird site to see. He made a move toward first then he just stood there and let the first baseman tag him out. I like that Marty Brown has been having him bat 8th for the past few weeks. Maybe it'll help him get his head out of his ass.

Kevin Ahrens is the real bust. He's a backup in AA. But Deck is definitely going to be a bust in my opinion. It's not because he doesn't work hard, he just doesn't have the talent.

I'll have to listen for Bautista's batting music next time. I remember when Catalanotto used to use "Down With The Sickness" by Disturbed. I always liked that.

I've seen Pillar play in person a few times this year. I think he'll be a fourth OF in the Majors. Similar to a Rajai Davis, but with a better average and fewer stolen bases. He doesn't have the power to be an everyday player.

I was at the game today. Stroman was lights out during the first three innings. He hit the first batter he faced, but that was a botched call by the umpire. The ball never hit the batter but the batter did an excellent job of selling it. It seemed like Stroman started to fatigue a little bit during the 4th and 5th innings. All in all, I was happy with what I saw from him today.

I would have preferred to see Joel Carreno get promoted to Buffalo instead. His K/9IP ratio is almost identical and his ERA is nearly 2.00 less at 0.59. I saw him pitch in New Britain three weeks ago and he is clearly way too good for AA.

I'd like to see Claudio Vargas get a shot. Germano, Bush and Ortiz have already had their opportunity to contribute for the Jays and haven't done well (that puts it mildly). Vargas is slated to start for Buffalo today, however. And in my opinion, Deck McGuire is going to be to be a bust.
