    man...if we win, the Yankees lose and the twins lose and the Sox win we play the Twins. We can still play the Twins, Cleveland, the sox or the Rays going into tomorrow.

    Sox just took a 7 to 5 lead over the Cubs....Cleveland down 8 to 0. I'd much prefer to play the Sox just in case the Yankees lose tomorrow and we win...nice to see!

    I think that's just a generalization of any kid coming up early. The breaking ball is a lot different in the show.

    He never refused to play a game, he was injured. He wasn't happy with the rehab suggestions after he reinjured his calf during rehab. Even when he was traded in August to Cleveland he was immediately put on the 10 day injured list and didn't play until Sept 11. That was some nice fiction there. Here's the article about him playing at the end of August so they could trade him and he obviously wasn't healthy because once he went to Cleveland he immediately landed on the 10 day DL....sort of calls your most selfish man on the planet theory into question. https://www.cbc.ca/sports/baseball/mlb/josh-donaldson-dl-rehab-assignment-1.4808899

    This is the guy I was expecting at the beginning of the year! He's arrived.

    Huckaby was named the AAA manager in the offseason and didn't manage a single game. He ran the alternate training site the entire season until it wrapped up. If he was simply fired to save money, shame on Rogers. They could have carried his salary another month until the Jays season was done. We've seen a lot of players come from the alternate training site.

    so we've gone full circle from sending him to AAA next year to him being a playoff hero! Oh the ups and downs of baseball..lol
