Wonder if the finger is bothering him for that splitter - since it does create a blister that he medically manages after every game. But more importantly, no one is chasing that splitter when he does throw it.

I still do not understand the logic of pitching away when you shift to pull; you are literally asking the batter to tap it the other way through the giant hole.

God, I wish Zimmer could have an OBP of .300, his speed would change the game. Zimmer has just better everything than Tapia except can't get on base to save his life.

Whatever they are doing with Springer, load management wise, he hasn't been on the IL for the season thus far (knock on wood) - so, I'm happy for them to keep doing whatever keeps him off IL, even if it means Kirk misses a game (Its Detroit and this lineup can win without Kirk) cause Springer has to DH every other game.
