  1. Wasn't a bad pitch lol, he just hit it better
  2. And they were no easy doubles, man put his life on the line for every one of them stretching typical singles into doubles .
  3. Its just analytics though; Lynn does significantly better against righties than lefties - in 2021 (157 IP): 192/230/303 (530 OPS) for righties; 227/303/375 (677 OPS) for lefties. Mirrored in his last and only start of the 2022 season. Obviously Tapia is Tapia, but against RHS: Tapia: 272/293/386 (679 OPS) Espinal: 279/335/41 (754 OPS) Chapman: 212/306/364 (671 OPS) Biggio: 156/317/234 (551 OPS) Can make a case for Espinal before Tapia (so he bats 6th) or put a lefty amid all the righties in a row so Lynn has a stopgap. It makes sense why he is there, sucks that he is one of our only three LHBs on the roster, but at least they didn't put Zimmer in the lineup.
  4. Makes sense. Gurriel had the foul ball incident and probably extremely sore in that area. Kirk played in all 3 games (and caught back to back) - though am surprised that he is sitting on Berrios' pitching day since they typically are shipped together. Hopefully Berrios remains just as effective with Moreno. Tapia has been hot as well. Its a weird lineup but might just work. Biggio is a weird choice (Lynn only has 3.3 BB/9 in his career and no walks last game) but I guess Vlad with the dive last night also warrants a semi-day off. Its how this team is being managed - pretty sure Springer is getting a day off tomorrow. So get on board
  5. Incredible. They are only 6.5 GB of WC.
  6. Of course the day I have to f***ing fly out of the country for work, they stage a monumental comeback. Where can you watch a replay again? @spanky99
  7. Hell ya, excellent offense.
  8. If you cannot sustain competitive games against .500 teams, you are hoping for a crapshoot in the WS with things going your way - which is okay I guess, depends on the strength of your prayers.
  9. Ya you aren't? and you call yourself a fan? Piss off.
  10. You watching the same game? Or you just going to wag your data around that accrued beating up on s*** teams. OH WAIT, we can't even do that apparently.
  11. We are a loser; look at Vlad Can only beat up bad teams, s*** record against any teams over .500
  12. With this offense? You kidding me? They can't get a f***ing sac fly to save their f***ing life.
  13. Like, who the f*** watches this s*** and thinks this is fun.
  14. Game over. f*** this.
  15. Pitch count just shot way up. Sigh.
  16. I am over this s***.
  17. unf***ing real.
  18. He was not looking for a fastball - but then he recognized it (needs to swing to protect plate and not K) and he late-swings to pull. That'll never work, ever. He needs to learn how to slap-hit if he's trying to late-swing to protect the plate like Rizzo does.
  19. jesus christ, how are you supposed to hit that pitch ump .... like its so far out, you can't even make contact
  20. Trevino manages to frame those away off-the plate pitches really well, 70% of the time it gets called a strike.
