    Vladdy has to figure out how to lay off those outside/down/away pitches. He can still make contact but it has always been weak contact and more often than not a groundout

    Iunno, half glass full take. Biggio can't hit fastballs. JBJ is one of the best fastball hitters (iirc) this season v. Merrifield who hasn't been crazy good at the plate (struggling I'd say) Springer still healing knee Gurriel has never had any success against Cole (.100/.174/.100 in 23 PA) v. Tapia who at least has speed/contact to put pressure on the defense who has been pretty s*** of late.
