We know this already, in fact this has been posted on the old forum numerous times. It can happen but yes, it's likely the bad start killed the season.
On that play yes. IMO the play should stop, lets agree to disagree. Also it was clear happ could be seriously hurt, in bucks case he may not have even known he was hurt much at all.
What do these other plays have to do with anything? they are not even close to the same scenario as running the bases after a pitcher is potentially seriously hurt. The jays were more concerned about their teammate then the game at that point, pretty simple to understand. I t has nothing to do with escobar, don't care who was on base.
Every other sports stop when a player is seriously hurt, it's called class.
I don't know, IMO at that point the game doesn't matter, I think it is classless to take advantage of happ being hit to run around the bases. It's clear the jays were not concerned about the play at that point. They saw what happened and then ran.
Im not saying I like Lind, but you dont hit 30 + hr in the majors with no power, the issue is he has not been making enough good contact since to utilize his power, but I agree he cannot be relied on at this pojnt.
The jays cause i'm a homer. Seriously though, the offense is good enough to get back to .500 until reyes, JJ and happ get back imp. Need romero to step up though, and RA and buerhle to get it together.
UGH, the rest of the staff has to step up, MB, Dickey have to regain form, morrow has to stay consistent, and romero has to get back to form or it's going to be impossible to climb out of this hole.
This has been driving me crazy, it's frustrating to watch and really is selfish baseball. Good teams change approach depending the situation, this team for the most part has look lost and without a plan up there. Getting better lately but still.
