  1. Afetr saying that, it is not impossible for this team to go 27-14 like the less talented jays team from 2 season ago, that would put us in good shape.
  2. We know this already, in fact this has been posted on the old forum numerous times. It can happen but yes, it's likely the bad start killed the season.
  3. With edgar gonzalez we are going to win it all...........................
  4. You knew something had to be physically wrong with doc for him to be pitching bad, when healthy he's such a beast.
  5. On that play yes. IMO the play should stop, lets agree to disagree. Also it was clear happ could be seriously hurt, in bucks case he may not have even known he was hurt much at all.
  6. The jays went 27-14 2 season ago with half the talent, no reason this team cannot go on a good run and be back in it. The pitching worries me though.
  7. What do these other plays have to do with anything? they are not even close to the same scenario as running the bases after a pitcher is potentially seriously hurt. The jays were more concerned about their teammate then the game at that point, pretty simple to understand. I t has nothing to do with escobar, don't care who was on base. Every other sports stop when a player is seriously hurt, it's called class.
  8. It's pretty obvious escobar is a moron.
  9. I don't know, IMO at that point the game doesn't matter, I think it is classless to take advantage of happ being hit to run around the bases. It's clear the jays were not concerned about the play at that point. They saw what happened and then ran.
  10. Lind is showing signs he's going to hit well, he has been walking and getting hits lately, he has the talent to be a very good hitter.
  11. Im not saying I like Lind, but you dont hit 30 + hr in the majors with no power, the issue is he has not been making enough good contact since to utilize his power, but I agree he cannot be relied on at this pojnt.
  12. You don't hit 30 + homeruns at this level and not have power, he has power he just has not hit well enough to to take advantage of his power.
  13. The jays cause i'm a homer. Seriously though, the offense is good enough to get back to .500 until reyes, JJ and happ get back imp. Need romero to step up though, and RA and buerhle to get it together.
  14. That would be part of the fun.
  15. Agreed, JJ can be dominant, we could really use that right now.
  16. The rotation was doing bad before the injuries, it's a major concern. We need Buerhle, dickey to get on track, and romero to regain form.
  17. He had been showing signs he is improving, we need him is this team wants to make a run. If he can regain his 2009 form this offense will be scary.
  18. Your right they have lost 4 of 5, but they are solid none the less.
  19. That's a big if, we need romero to regain form now more then ever.
  20. UGH, the rest of the staff has to step up, MB, Dickey have to regain form, morrow has to stay consistent, and romero has to get back to form or it's going to be impossible to climb out of this hole.
  21. Man bautista missed a hr by 1 foot.
  22. This has been driving me crazy, it's frustrating to watch and really is selfish baseball. Good teams change approach depending the situation, this team for the most part has look lost and without a plan up there. Getting better lately but still.
  23. No one in the minors? We really romero to step up now. What about cecil can he go?
  24. I dont agree with them running the bases there that's classless imo.
  25. Agreed that was scary, no one wants to see that.
