    Agree. But one new rule I agree with is the ghost runner at second when in extra innings. It brings intensity to the game and will save the bullpen meaning more quality pitching.

    NBA, NFL and NHL all have a time limit for the action to complete the game. A clock in those sports was always necessary. In baseball the inning ends with 3 outs, not a timer. Not so hard to understand the difference is it?

    If you're a kid with a short attention span it fits the bill for you. A baseball game with thinking and strategy is not for you so you just want rush rush action. Bringing up extremes like Dolis is a poor argument. I appreciate all the nuances of the game in a relaxed atmosphere. The game was never intended to include a clock that will penalize players. Where are the historical statistics for that? I am not trying to convince anyone but I will sure expose the stupidity of it all.
