Actually their stuff is very similar, as far as their fastballs go anyways. They both have that diving fastball that they can throw at 96-99mph. Both throw changeups that are something to be desired, both with little movements and only accomplish speeding up the opposing hitters bat. The big difference is Sanchez has a blow you away curve and Alvarez throws a slider. Henderson has learned that he is better served to get ground balls off his sinker instead of trying to strike people out with it. Aaron will be best served to do the same thing. His fastball moves so much that it's no wonder he's having command issues with it. He doesn't need to strike guys out with it and when he learns that, his command will be easier for him to attain. I know it's only one year, but look at Alvarez right now. He is a bona fide ACE, allowing 2 ER or less in 12 of his last 13 starts last time I looked. His walk rate is way down and so is his ERA. I screamed out loud when they trade him, it was a huge mistake for this organization. I know they were "going for it" and all, but I knew that kid was going to be a star. A prime example of why you don't trade away your young talent. Can you imagine a rotation next year of Alvarez, Stroman, Sanchez, Norris and Hutch? Just let them pitch and watch where this team would be with all five of those guys having a few years experience. That starting five right there rivals Tampas young starting five in Archer, Moore, Cobb, Smyly and Hellickson/Ordozzi. This team needs to exercise patience right now. Sanchez, Stroman, Norris and Hutch going forward. Start trading guys with some value still to repenish the farm system some and maybe bolster the bullpen some with a few good young arms. I've been watching and playing this game for a long f***ing time. IMO, Sanchez definately has ACE potential. He is still very young and simply needs to be told to use his fastball to get ground balls. Take a little bit off to help him gain command. It isn't that hard to do, especially for a young kid who is easy to teach. When you have a kid with 95 plus fastball, with wicked movement, of course command is going to take time. Jumping all over him for his walk rate at this point in his career is utterly ridiculous. He's still learning. His stuff alone is more than enough reason to believe that with the right coaching, this kid is going to be a dominant, front of the rotation starter for years to come. You look at a guy like Alvarez, and he doesn't have that secondary wipout pitch like Aaron and Marcus have. But he's learned already that his fastball is enough to get guys out on a consistent basis and his numbers tell the entire story. I think Aaron has better stuff than Henderson does overall. Time will tell I guess.

I don't care if Navarro hits ten more game winners. Fact is that he's a fat, lazy ass prick who gets down on pitches as bad as Arencibia does...and that's pretty f***ing hard to accomplish. He frames pitches worse than a f***ing blind man and he runs the bases like he's dropped a load in his pants. Take his taco eating ass and let him ride the burrito bus into some other town.

Ridiculous, you have a pitcher like Mark who hasn't pitched well lately and a young stud like Sanchez in the bullpen and you leave a left into face two mendoza line hitting right hand hitters??? If that isn't ridiculous amateur managing, I'm not quite sure what is. Mark had no business facing either of those hitters, who would've been completely overmatched by Sanchez. Actually, my mistake, he had no business facing Escobar neither. Another hitter who has very little chance of hitting Sanchez.
-
Wow, if Navarro or Rasmus are resigned for next year, I won't be watching much of this team. They are both useless f***ing scrubs who do very little to help this team. Utterly ridiculous that a professional organization would employ either of these idiots. Same with strike out every other at bat Frandiksuk. f***ing embarassing.

Kawasaki is barely a .200 hitter, which makes me laugh at all the fanboys who think he should be here over Goins. Ryan is in there and he saves a run. He catches all those endless popups that Fukasaki can't run down that fall in as endless bloopers, contributing to big innings, just like in the Chisox series. Defense wins games along with solid pitching and the two go hand and hand. Anybody who thinks he should be in there instead of Goins is a complete baseball moron. We need defense from that position, not offense.Plain and simple, Goins is 50 times the defender that Saki is. Go figure fat ass, hilbilly Gibbons and dickwad Cobnopolous would prefera weak hitting, weak ass defending Jasp over a stud defender. Organzation and its fanboys make me laugh sometimes.

f***ing fanboys can't handle anyone criticizing their boyfriend and instantly get their panties in a bunch when somebody does. He's been inconsistent all year, lacking fastball command and at one point, had the worst ERA of any MLB starter in his own ballpark. He shows falshes of excellence, getting his stuff down and beating good teams, then falls of for 5 or 6 starts. That tells me flat out he's not ready to pitch at this level. If we expect to field a winner, we can't have a guy like this in our rotation. If our team is going to let this guy learn on the job, they need to do the same with all of our young pitchers and rid ourselves of f***ing ****s like Dickey and Happ, who do only enough to keep their jobs by throwing a decent game or two once ina while before getting lit up for 6 or 7 starts. f***ing fanboys on here who've obviously never played this game make me laugh out loud.

Your mom is the one scrubbing off her knee pads at my house asswipe. As for him being a serviceable starter? He has been extremely inconsistent through the entire season. You take out his two shutout games and he has an ERA right around 6. He has been a complete no show all year at home, blowing up games start after start, consistently not giving his team a chance to win. He needs to go down and work on his fastball command so he doesn't hand us an ERA of around 7 in our own ballpark.
-
He's a scrub, it has nothing to do with calming down. He has been inconsistent all year, especially at home. If you think a guy with an ERA of 5 and a WHIP over 130 is serviceable then you need to start following another sport there buddy. He's had way more horrible starts then he has had good ones and his ups and down need to be worked out at another level at this point. He lacks command down in the zone with his fastball and it has been that way over 25 starts, which IMO, is more than a large enough sample size to make that judgement.
-
His fastball command and his command in general is outright amateur. He needs to go down to AA ball where he belongs until he proves he can throw strikes down in the zone consistently. Earlier in the year, he was just garbage at home. Now he's stinking it up wherever he goes. An ERA over 5 is flat out unacceptable at this level. Time to give Sanchez some experience in that role and prepare this team for the future.
-
Today? REALLY? Because he reminds me of A.J Burnett to a tee. He is lights out for two starts and then blows up for 4 or 5 because of a complete lack of command. Throwing 40 pitches in one inning in one of the teams most important games of the year is just flat out unacceptable. He should be sent down and left there until he proves he can command the strike zone. He has been garbage off and on all year and I think enough is enough with this f***ing scrub.

Same f***ing thing, walk the bases loaded to get to the auto out dumb f***ing monkey Franfukface. I'm so sick and tired of watching f***ing scrubs like this that have absolutely NO learning curve. I'd much rather watch even f***ing Pillar or just about ANYBODY else play over that f***ing maggot. No f***ing business being on the field for this team whatsoever. Two f***ing chances to win the game and he falls down, BOTH time swinging at a BALL. Funny thing is that he's such a f***ing garbage player with so little situational sense that he would swing at a ball even at 2-0 or 3-0. He's f***ing dumb, can't hit a breaking ball, can't field and can't think on his feet. Why the f*** is he on this team? Complete f***ing joke.
-
Frandicksuc is another f***ing scrub who can't get a runner in from third to save his life. He flails at pitches like you see an 11 year old doing and is either an automatic pop up or strikeout. We need to get rid of these *******s for whatever pitching we can get for them. Watching some fat f***ing cream puff try and hit a breaking ball and fail endlessly gets old really f***ing fast. Same goes for the mendoza line hitting Rasmus too. Guy isn't getting any better, so get him the f*** out and let Gose learn at this level. The defence and speed he gives us makes up for what little offense Rasmus gives us over Gose. I'm just sick at watching these morons fail to learn at this level.

Bautista is f***ing useless in the clutch. I mean, when you get two hits with runners in socring position in one game and it matches your total over 110 games? You suck giant monkey dick. They should have traded the f***ing loser when they had the chance, when he still had value to a club who actually thinks he's still worth something. EE has been out for almost 40 f***ing games and Bautista STILL hasn't caught up to him in RBI's. As a situational hitter, he's utter f***ing trash. I'm getting sick of watching his stupid f***ing ass slam s*** around in the dugout from grounding into double play after double play. He watches a guy throw four straight f***ing balls and comes out and swings at the first f***ing pitch. He's a loser who needs to be traded to get our team younger with more pitching depth. His 15 minutes of fame was up 14 minutes ago. Moron

Nice to see Hutch win in total dominance against a division rival in probably our most important game of the year thus far. Sincerely hope he builds on it......so we can trade the bastard for a f***ing body muzzle to stop Gibby from making anymore dumb f***ing decisions to put his youngsters in harms way. f***ing meth smoking amputee rapist
-
Hopefully we'll see him string a few starts together for a change instead of one good, one bad, one good, one bad. Frustrating knowing the kid has what it takes but seems to be an exact replica of AJ Burnett. Anyways, on to the next f***ing scrub who needs to be traded? Who pitches next? Whatever, trade the **********!
