I guess it depends if Wang and Rogers can give the offense a chance to win until the DL reinforcements come back and JJ ,Dickey and Buehrle pitch to their potential . long season yet and at the start of the year I said injuries would decide the AL east and I still stick to that . Least injured team wins

I'm still picking the yankees . Yes they have Pineda coming back plus Arod likely unless Cashman hires a hit man or even a guy to break his kneecap . They don't have a hell of a lot to trade and don't want to exceed the 189 next year . Tex is done (wrist surgery ) for the year and Wells is regressing to the mean.

I really don't believe AA or any in the organization are not aware of JPA,s faults . I have listened to the radio broadcasts of several games where Jack ,s disgust of his catching ability was so apparent and Zaun talks about it lots . Catching is the biggest need on this club and they know it . I just don't see what can be done this year . AA could probably trade for a guy like Mathis but we aren't getting a front line catcher . Still if Lawrie was back swinging the bat well and Reyes hitting I believe this offense has enough that we could afford a light bat like Mathis in the lineup but the 40 man roster is such a mess which is why Blanco had to go . I just don't think he is coachable and has no clue of the strike zone .
