AA is using the Buffalo roster for a 26 th man which lengthens the Bullpen. It is just smart management. He will be optioned back to Buffalo and the next guy to be used will be Wagner. -
We know what we have in Happ and Hendriks. Just got to hope our offense goes wild every time they pitch and if not then they get lucky like Hendriks has.

Team just came off a huge winning streak. Not going to win them all. we all hate to lose every game but this team is a good team that just lakes a starter . Who Knows ? maybe stroman gives us that tomorrow.

AA was on the route to sustained success when ownership intervened and wanted instant success. If he hasn't the money to spend in the draft this year who will you blame?

The team that has the ability to make enough moves to get good is the O,s. They have the offense and have the pieces to get a shark. Not enough but some of their other starters can come around.

In a game where the Jays never hit a home run we get a walk off bunt . How lucky can we get. Lucky enough to win a Hendricks start How about the luck streak continuing and we beat Shields.

His value if any lies in the pen and the sooner they see this the better. He is out of options so the jays need to see if he is a pen piece before too long as it is obvious he isn't a starter.

Thx for posting the link. Now that Quote scared the s*** out of me . i can't believe Rogers would deny the Jays a chance to draft quality because of a few million. We will know soon. I'll really be pissed if AA doesn't spend his full amt. on this one of the best draft classes for those of us not in the top 5 . Talent is deep this year and we need to reload the farm.

The O's are all over the shark. The Cubbies had scouts watching Eduardo Rodrigeuz , and Hunter Harvey this week and also Kevin Gausman. Shark sweepstakes are already on and the O,s seem to have the best shot.

LOL , Just thinking about the end of that game . We never hit an HR this game and we walk it off with a BUNT. First walk off bunt I have watched in a long time.

Still over 100 games left and we don't have lock down pitching so I'm going to just enjoy it one game at a time. Defense won this one. Hendriks again got damn lucky.

Gose can sure lay them down. Amazing what speed will do. Pillar really put a good slide down to score that run.

Needs to pitch down in the zone tonite. I do expect him to be better but I really don't believe he has the stuff to pitch up like he did in his first start.

Bull pen pitched too many innings at the start and hasn't been good since. Delabar has not had his command and Cecil has been inconsistent. Only Casey has been dependable every time out. If Santos gets healthy and pitching well, has command of his slider then I honestly can see Delabar going down. Have No idea where Happ,s 95 mph came from but his last start was good so hats off to Walker if he can keep him pitching like this. Hendriks got lucky last time out with lots of balls up in the zone. He better start pitching down in the Zone or will get lit up. Hutch had a great start with Kratz behind the plate then a 5 inning start and now a 5inning 5 run start with Navarro. Like Navarro,s bat but would love to see Kratz catch him the next time out.

Battle of the walking lefties . Happ at over 5.5 BB/9 against the most patient team in the majors is like add gas to a fire. At the same time Pomeranz is over 3 BB/9 against the best offense in the majors . Bullpens will be busy and anyone going to the game can expect fireworks form both sides. Going to miss the game and will have to catch it on XM.

Hate to say this but you have to have thick skin on most of these boards. The ignore function works, please use it and stay posting. There are lots of really good knowledgeable baseball fans on this board and I for one have learned lots from some of these guys. Most of us value all the posters on this board ,the more the better as it will only succeed fiscally if people contrite and post.
