    Had a chance to go into the break with confidence and momentum instead now there's just more questions about the rotation. I could see taking a series from the best team in the league being a huge turning point but a split with 2 gong show blowouts doesn't do much to inspire confidence.

    As a fan I am hoping for .600 ball from here out and a WS win. A sustainable competitor isn't going to come from a few trades in one season. We have a front office dedicated to drafting and developing good young talent. We aren't used to seeing this since AA traded everyone before they made it up here, and JP had a ridiculous draft approach where he completely neglected upside in order to get polished players up here as fast as possible. Let the draft and IFA signings bring in the young talent while still trying to compete at the major league level. The Jays brand is the strongest it's been in 30 years, we still lead the league in attendance and people still rock the Jays gear all across Canada. There's nothing to be gained from blowing it up and tanking except one or two more prospects who are more likely to be another Kyle Drabek than a Syndergaard.

    Pearce f***ed up and Pillar should have noticed so they both made a mistake but the initial and biggest mistake was Pearce trying to tag on what was 1 ft away from a HR
