    Usually they make sure the relievers can go back to back and see how they feel after before calling them up. This just seemed rushed, especially with barely any spring training for these guys. Maybe they are worried about Green's shoulder.

    I'm saying they shouldn't have optioned him until Swanson showed some results but also yes I would have gone with Francis instead or even Mayza to start the inning, but that's probably just me. Sorry man, just peeved at this one. Hate losing to the Yankees. No more arguing. All good brother.

    Yes. or Pearson, who should still be up while the guys who had a short Spring Training get more than one inning against live batters before being put right back in their old roles and working it out up here. Is that suffice?

    Give it up. He looked like s*** in AAA and wasn't ready, especially to f***ing close a sweep game against a division rival who we are already being buried behind.

    Green had shoulder soreness after his last appearance.

    Swanson and Romano pitched 1.1 and 1 inning respectively in AAA. Both had a short Spring. Swanson gave up 4 hits in his 1.1. Safe to say he could have used more rehab time. especially when Pearson was looking good.

    White was dfa, but ya Pearson would have been nice to have today.

    I would have even preferred Francis over Swanson in his current state. He needed more time in AAA.

    Why not work your rehabbing relievers in in easier situations until they're right rather than throw them right into the fire?
