  1. Bautista for Profar straight up is a retarded trade
  2. There's one problem here. We should never of been comparing Hech to Reyes... the point was to compare a very good SS to sub-par SS, but Hech's bat is so bad. There are a number of short-stops that have very good defense and average bats.
  3. If he stays a Jay you just know he'll be bad again, but if he becomes a Tampa Bay Ray, for example, he'll probably become an Ace again.
  4. What kind of nonsensical formula is that
  5. Cool story, no really, cool story
  6. Why put him on waivers to begin with?
  7. Yes.
  8. Would be pretty funny to see this gongshow end on a Bautista hissyfit
  9. Excellent retort, thank you. Though I think it's more significant than your calculation is making it out to be.
  10. Blue Jays are 6th in the majors in runs scored.... our SP sure has f***ed us, right up the goat ass.
  11. LOL Bautista is now happy. The team is down by 10 but he hit his HR so all is well.
  12. Clearly you're just looking for theatrics at this point.
  13. I'd argue Hech who is an excellent SS makes on average between 1-2 plays a game that Reyes doesn't make. To me that more than offsets Reyes bat... but whatever, it's a tough argument to make.
  14. One day somebody will hit 5, then it will really be history.
  15. On avg, how many plays per game do you think Hech makes that Reyes doesn't make?
  16. Wow our Buffalo line-up looks so bad, 1-5: McCoy Gose Pillar Jimenez Sierra We have nearly zero offensive depth.
  17. I honestly think his good bat is offset by his sub-par defense.
  18. True enough, I'm too lazy to look at the logs. Lawrie is one guy that seems to just clear fence a lot.
  19. Considered that but don't really agree. Plainly put, if you are a home run hitting team you don't put your fences back.
  20. This season is such a colossal failure, to the point where it actually worries me that it could be a catalyst for the eventual demise of the franchise. I know that sounds crazy right now given that attendance is up but there just doesn't seem to be any light at the end of this tunnel.
