I'm not going to lie, I used to love the Rogers Centre, ever since my dad took me to my first baseball game there when I was a kid (I'm sure many of you have similar stories). But in the last few years I realize how far away it is from a real baseball stadium and how amazing it would be to have something like PNC Park.
I know I'm speaking from my arse a bit but I just get the impression from his mannerisms behind the plate (i.e. how he encourages the pitcher) that he has a good camaraderie with his counter-part.
He doesn't just pitch frame well. I would argue he does all catching duties well: game calling, throwing out runners, receiving, and pitch framing. I imagine he even has those intangible qualities too like good chemistry with the pitchers.
