People forget that Mark Buehrle's success this year is really just an extension of the 2nd half of last year. He has just as much WAR over the past year as James Shields who most people would consider an ace. Factor in that the guy is made of titanium and I think this guys well worth the 20m a season. His current pace is probably unsustainable but I dont think its a stretch to assume he'll probably end this season with a sub 3.50 ERA in a division many people thought he no longer had the ability to pitch in. -

Good to see Janssen back. His absence was far more detrimental to this ball club than i could have imagined. Good win today. Tabby just called Buehrle our ace LOL. What can I say the guy is a winner. 7-1 this season and 14-4 in his last 21 starts.

Mark Buehrle and Jose Bautista carrying this team tonight as they have for much of the season. We need someone else to step up.

Unfortunately neither Lind nor Francisco can hit lefties. Lind shouldn't be in there against Wilson but we have no alternative options.

Pitch Francisco down and away and he can't put the bat on the ball especially against LHP. Angels haven't even been trying to go anywhere else at all against him and for good reason.
