1. I agree with everything you say here. Particularly the part about Gordon being overrated. If Pollock's elbow is as f***ed up as it could be I can see Gordon being = to AJ next year. 2. You're being coy about this, arguing both sides of the trade... which side of the trade to you favor?

To be completely honest, an ancillary benefit of the trade was weakening Dinger for this year. I would have taken it anyway, but that was icing on the cake.

Yup. I considered it quite a bit, but to me MadBum is four years younger, and his issues *seem* to be more injury related (foot) rather than wear and tear related, so I decided the risk was worth it.
