Thanks for the clarification fellas. Sorry for being mildly curmudgeon, cantankerous and difficult. Got drunk and panicky quickly, and wanted to sort this out.

"Only unowned players who have never played an MLB game and who belong to an MLB parent team are eligible to be drafted. Players who have been drafted by an MLB parent team are eligible to be drafted, even if they have not signed with the parent club (as our annual draft will occur before the signing period has concluded). Drafted prospects that go unsigned and/or return to college may be kept at the owner’s discretion." I think I can keep him (and Bickford same too, for the Ass)

Yeah, I see the issue. Basically, the rule should be you can draft a player in a year which he is drafted (signing pending), or someone already signed and with a MiLB organization.

So to confirm, it is totally OK to own a drafted and unsigned guy?

What's the rule on this in the DDL? As an example, I have Ryan Boldt on my ML roster right now, and he's going to be a first round pick in 2016 more than likely. Did I just out myself for breaking the rules? Admittedly, some teams farms can't afford to hold dead weight for 3 years and wait, but it makes sense for my current situation right now.

So who has drafted best so far?

There are a couple of contributing factors for that. 1. Less chance to flame out 2. My pitchers are old as f*** 3. Shorter majors ETA 4. Probably a little undervalued in this group (not so sexy)
