That third place trophy shall sit in my digital trophy case for the rest of my life, right next to my second place trophy from the year prior. Following my passing, the digital trophy will go to the eldest male in the Min lineage (Min-eage?) along with the deed to the 2nd Leg to Stanton ownership.

I don't have a strong opinion either way, just something that came to me and figured I would bring it up for the people to discuss.

I know this is far too late to bring this up actually expecting a change, and I'm not even upset about it per se, more just curious to hear the rationale, but how come I (or whoever the third place finisher is) gets dropped to draft slot 18? I think it makes more sense to go reverse order of standings, with the exception being the two finalists. Maybe something to think about for next year, I don't know if anyone really cares or not.

I made the trade in an effort to hedge against the possibility of Hanley becoming a non SS asset, which I think is about a coinflip. Even if he does though, I got a return I was happy with. As North noted, I really needed a young, legit pitcher, and adding a nice piece to my farm who I think is going to continue to gain value was good also. I don't really buy into Appel's first half last year, I think he returns to the kind of guy that garnered him being the 1st overall pick. Plus I'm comfortable having Aybar at SS for the time being. Hopefully Tim Anderson works out to fill in there eventually.

Just if anyone is looking to fill a hole at SS, I'd be willing to trade Hanley or Aybar. First instinct says I'd be looking for either Major League pitching, or maybe prospects, but am open for anything. If you have any ideas send me a PM.

I would recommend trying to find a tool online. It's easier for fantasy football, more resources available, but there might be something out there. The issue with the fantasy football ones is they don't work for schedules as long as a baseball season.
