This was my rational, mostly. I wanted a longterm piece at 1B, and Jones is incredibly frustrating in an OBP league. He's also intensely unlikable, so that's a plus. And I get more rotation help, I dunno, I feel good about it. To me it's a mild downgrade in the lineup plus another SP2/3.

Bailey's elbow is fine, Hosmer is gonna perform like it's an odd season perpetually, and I could OBP better than Jones. Can we please just compliment me and move on.
