Estevez to the Royals... The Royals and right-hander Carlos Estévez are reportedly in agreement on a two-year deal that comes with a club option for 2027. It’s a $22MM guarantee for the Premier Talent Sports and Entertainment client, which includes a $2MM buyout on the option valued at $13MM. If the Royals exercise the option, the deal would reach $33MM over three seasons. The Royals have a full 40-man roster and will need to make a corresponding move to make this official.
