    Depends on what they do next? If they sign a stud 3rd baseman, they stay in house, if they sign a Drew/Lowrie stop-gap, probably someone like Aoki. Melky's gone.

    I misinterpreted this,(didn't really read your OP...) if contracts are involved, I'm on the fence. Upton would surely upgrade the wins this season, but at that cost, I'd have to say no. Unless AA had a chance to talk extension. Tough call, if they want the prize they probably would. It's all moot anyhow. Good topic.

    With all of Headley's back problems, you guys honestly think he'd come and play on concrete willingly? I highly doubt it, hope I'm wrong, but it isn't realistic.
