  1. "The team that posted the winning bid isn’t yet known, but it isn’t the Mets, ESPN New York’s Adam Rubin writes. It also isn’t the Padres, tweets CBS Sports’ Jon Heyman, or the Dodgers, tweets the Los Angeles Times’ Dylan Hernandez. The Orioles aren’t the team, either, Dan Connolly of the Baltimore Sun tweets, and it’s not the Blue Jays, according to Jays broadcaster Mike Wilner (on Twitter), or the Yankees or Braves, via ESPN’s Jim Bowden (Twitter links). It also was not the Giants, tweets the San Francisco Chronicle’s John Shea." MLBTR Jesus, how many teams bid?

How long has DD been out? Another month I'd imagine, get 100% would be the smart move.

  13. Indeed, but the Jays were better.
  14. Crazy, he's considered a seasoned vet now. *shakes head* I was way off here.
  15. See... next post, I thought he was like 30?
  16. Holy f***...Eovaldi is only 25??? Ok, I take back everything I said about Eovaldi.
  17. Yet, he's been successful turning over rosters, time over time, I don't think A's fans are worrying, growing up in that scenario bodes well for fans, young and old. They're accustomed to competing, and making the PS, accordingly for a few years at a time, I grew up with that in Gillick.
  18. Eeeeeeww...Eovaldi is overrated, IMO.
  19. You're outlook is mine on said situation, but MLB Central, etc, has now put the Padres as the "BEST" off-season thus far, they've stirred up a ton of talk, and simply looks like PR moves to me, for the old school casuals, they'll win in ticket sales, no doubt, on the field, not so much, IMO.
  20. torontobluejays.com forum, ladies and gentleman. *sighs*
