When I pitched, and I had a call I didn't like, I'd just shake em off, there's just way too much noise in these situations.
An MLB pitching staff/catchers and coaches go over their plan of attack in the afternoon/morning, everyday, on how to chuck each batter, in every different situation(1st/2nd/3rd time through), the onus is on both who's on the mound, and ultimately the catcher, these things change between innings as well. To put it all on the catcher, is horseshit.
