  1. did Spanky just jump the gun? I thought we were on pick 34 which is JB's.
  2. then who is Westbrook? Also did you email JB?
  3. good time for me to push all in I guess.
  4. daaaaaaaamn son. Does that trigger the rebuild Dinger? Or just sort of a soft one?
  5. good luck. I couldn't get s*** for Waiver #8. And all I was asking for was an upgrade to a 2nd round MiLB pick. I wonder who this f'n guy is acquiring with Glyber
  6. Is for me. Its a bad waiver draft for me this year as well. Most value guys are holds dudes and I'm already stacked with them. Having already 'used' 2 waiver picks on Abreu and Eaton means I don't have as many holes as I would. Need another depth starter, but the options are... no appealing.
  7. that would have broke my heart to see him get that close then get popped lol
  8. taking Rhys Hoskins. Will email Gibbers.
  9. As an Arroyo owner, I can confirm that hes a hits guy with no other standout tools who will move to 3rd base because there is no room in the Giants MIF.
  10. don't know if the above applies, but the sense I get is no.
  11. Owners cannot "hold" extra MLB assets (players + waiver picks) after the cut down date. This means that if an owner keeps 20 players and has 6 waiver picks (one acquired via trade), their worst pick disappears effective at the cut down date. This also applies to extra MLB assets acquired during the draft; if an owner that kept 20 players and has five waiver picks trades an MiLB pick or a prospect for a waiver pick or MLB player, their worst waiver pick disappears effective at the confirmation of said trade. An owner that has made all of their waiver picks and thus has 25 MLB players cannot make any trades during the waiver draft that would give them more MLB player(s), even if Yahoo would accommodate the trade (by, say, placing a player in an NA or DL slot).
  12. I've got to rebrand to move into hopefully competition. Been thinking about it for a long time and have come to realization that I suck at coming up with team names. *edit, I did like the f*** Dahls in my redraft last year
  13. and god damn you change team names a lot KK.
  14. I've been thinking for a while about rearranging the spreadsheet to reflect the division (but holding off because I'm worried about f***ing with the linking and opening up a can of worms). I've worked up the courage, does anyone have an issues with me moving the teams around by division? Only issue I can see is people know where teams are (generally) on the sheet as it is.
  15. He does have some legit HR concerns, and some durability concerns. I think the command he has is going to mitigate the HR concerns in the long run.
  16. The non emailing thing has been fairly persistent pre-clock in this waiver draft. I don't usually email people after someone elses pick because people get like 10 emails every time they pick if everyone does it. But the guy who picks really needs to email next, or ask someone ITT to do it.
  17. Interesting, 100 waiver picks in 2014 99 waiver picks in 2015 98 waiver picks in 2016 97 (currently) waiver picks in 2017 If these trends continue... http://i.imgur.com/cMk3l.jpg
  18. I was thinking of taking a shot at Hedges too. AAA number are almost certainly a mirage, but hey, who knows!
  19. Man am I pumped that baseball is almost back!
  20. should have traded for it you ovary!
  21. and I did message KK (not email tho, but he's on often)
