  1. hmmm, I figured they weren't eligible for the prospect draft per this; (http://bluejayshockey.proboards.com/thread/8/prospect-draft) where they were explicitly named, so I didn't check. Was there discussion on this that I missed/am forgetting?
  2. I don't see how you use WAR as the determining factor when their individual WAR is so close to one another. Trout was a better hitter by a good margin this year and Donaldson is making up ground in WAR with defensive play. That defensive component is hard to calculate and could very well be off by a bit (positively or negatively) from his 'true' defensive value. Its fairly easy to use WAR as the determining factor when there is a good margin between the candidates (see Trout v Miguel), but its not a clear case when they are within .5 WAR.
  3. nice lineup. I like Tulo at 7 to get him back into things
  4. Kang is available if you are looking beyond next year. I'm not looking to give him away, but he is available.
  5. My tentative keeper list is; D'Arnaud, Shaffer, Gordon, Russell, Seager, Myers, Polanco, Guerrero, Kang, Singleton, Hicks, Altherr, Tanaka, Ventura, Montero, Sanchez, Lamb, Miller, Grilli, Paxton Players available for cheep; Petro Strop, Jesus Montero, Mark Canha, Austin Jackson, Zach Duke, Alex Wilson, Tommy Hunter, Josh Collmenter Not a great list, but shoot me an offer if you like anyone primed to be cut.
  6. The only clarification I would offer here is that while we are not entitled to free speech, that is what we are generally looking for in an online forum. Its not that its owed to us, its that if speech is restricted too much we will want to find a new board, and we all generally like the community we all built here.
  7. that's all fine. But you have to realize that you have a hot-head who holds grudges as a mod and its disenfranchising some of your longest term members and hurting the board. O2 isn't a good mod. He doesn't have the temperament for it. If that's abuse, ban me... but I'm just speaking the truth.
  8. and stay out of our thread. We have a mod who can make sure we're all kept in line. You aren't need, and sure aren't wanted.
  9. I would love to trade for a bopper at 1b. Anyone selling? I've got some nice prospects to deal and my MLB roster is in play as well.
  10. Wait, a vote of 10-7 means that removing SO's is a given? That seems like a pretty close split to me
  11. That would be different and interesting
  12. Its boring because I don't feel any excitement watching a face-off IRL, or counting a faceoff wins over the course of the week. Its important in the game, but its not exciting at all.
  13. faceoff wins is literally the most boring fantasy category I have ever heard of.
  14. Russell better play better next year. I want to attempt to compete (probably still 1 year too early, but still) and I traded my other MLB ready SS in Trea.
  15. his leg falling off won't help that cause.
  16. I thought Kang would be decent...
  17. I'm in if you actually want to trade it.
  18. I'll take Noesen. Working atm. Can someone email next?
  19. Exactly. But apparently the whole story doesn't include that.
  20. Especially right AFTER the draft.
  21. I don't like changing the scoring cats personally
  22. Yeah, I mean the actual story... not the snark
  23. I'll be interested to hear what this silvergun hockey league drama is about when it comes to light
  24. I was thinking this draft would drag big time. Good job team. Good job
