Nah I'm pretty sure I never owned Donaldson. If I did it must have been REAL early b/c I think I would remember that and despair otherwise.

I really don't know what to do with Singleton... he looks soooooooooooo bad in the MLB but then goes down and plays well at AAA, getting on base and hitting jacks. I really dropped the ball calling him up, but I thought I was safe when he got that extension.

Kang going down really hurts my MIF depth. Need to find a 1B who doesn't suxx.

lol JP Morosi just mentioned a Walker for Pillar deal on the fan. Does he read this forum? If so, did he not read all the responses that that deal was Uber slanted for the Jays?

We definitely need another starter. Having Hutch/Sanchez/Osuna in the 5-spot is key to ensuring we have depth for injury. Someone like Kuma or Kazmir would be a great fit.

I'm pretty sure the reason you don't see front loaded deal is the time-value of money. A player should be all for getting more money up front.

Even if you don't like the deal, Newcomb is legit -
I would think the players union should be pressing some of the borderline FA's to take the qualifying offer. Basically nobody accepts it so teams can offer it with impunity an expect a pick back. It would probably go a long away to keeping some players for being offered it if there was a precedent of it being accepted.

I love that we are actually talking about incentive laden deals. I always see them as team friendly, but AA never seemed to like them.

What about trading for Marcell Ozuna? Could be nice getting him out of that park and into a better lineup.

I'm assuming his injuries and decline hit him hard. I'm sure its tough for these type A athletes deal with 'failure'. Too bad.
