  1. Its fun that this will follow MIN forevermore. It was the first thing I thought of when I read it on MLBTR
  2. yup, found er and updated the sheet.
  3. better find that, I recall that, but must have missed it on the sheet.
  4. Also, there is an error on the sheet. Asdrubal owned by 2 peeps. Was there a trade that I missed?
  5. How dare you accuse me of living in Winnipeg. Sammy and I wouldn't live there... who are we, King?
  6. Do we want this logo to get done, or scare her off? I guess it might make me look good by comparison tho... hmmm
  7. Hard for weekdays... or maybe not?
  8. I don't know what you nerds drink. Could be a frothy beer for my peeps (TCA, Spanky, etc)
  9. I sort of like this guy because he could be confused as a GM. Plus could change the coffee to a Dr. Pepper or Rockstar or something http://previews.123rf.com/images/sababa66/sababa661112/sababa66111200007/11673991-Office-worker-asleep-at-his-desk-adult--Stock-Vector-silhouette-businessman-desk.jpg
  10. btw, while there are lost of ppl on, I talked to my wife about the DDL logo again and she just needs some input on what we want the figure to look like. If you recall we settled on trying to do an MLB style 3-colour silhouette logo with a nerd sitting at a computer instead of the ball player. I found some silhouettes of people at computer desks online for reference, but I think they are mostly for business literature (search computer desk silhouette for examples). Not sure if we wanted the figure to be more 'nerdy'. If we do, we need to get her some examples (even if they aren't silhouette). Let me know what you think.
  11. Just check the doc! Its one of the columns on the 'teams' sheet. You have made 92. Good for 2nd place. Our champion has made 97 deals however.
  12. Isn't this what you'd be doing by trading him?
  13. Would love to add a top flight D-man and/or a starting goalie. All prospects and picks on the table, same as roster players.
  14. donzo! Lets get all these blocks up gents!
  15. Funny you should say that, b/c my wife is working on version 2.0 with a custom diamond that isn't just yanked from the interwebz. Should get the old NJH 10/10 after that
  16. God damn you TCA... you knew this Bickford thing was coming when I traded you Naps for him... I demand a Padres style investigation of the WAR Pigs front office conduct!
  17. I think Grandy suits us to a Tee, but only if the Mets see him as almost a salary dump. Doesn't seem like they do and I'm not sure it makes sense for us to give up much to get him.
  18. Actually that could be a pretty decent OF for not that much cash. LF/RF - Blackmon (L). 9M est arb. That could affect his trade value. Will probably be a + defensive COF. Adds a nice power/speed combo and from what I read has made some changes that could have lead to increased pop. CF - Pillar ®. Lg min. Great defensive CF with some speed LF/RF - Jarrod Dyson (L). 4M est arb. Great defensive OF with good speed. Should get on base. Can backup CF when Pillar sits or is injured. 4th OF (LF/RF) - BJ Upton ®. 1-5M depending who you believe. Can handle both COF spots. Has some speed. Has some pop. Should hit lefties decently. No stars (although you could argue Blackmon if he gets a boost to defensive value moving from CF and some of that pop sticks), but its cheap (under 20M) and is potentially great defensively with lots of pop and speed mixed in. Really depends what it costs to get Blackmon. I agree trading a starter for him doesn't make sense, would have to be MiLB stuff.
  19. I'd be fine with that. Probably hard to do.
  20. Wanted to throw an idea out for the new trade block tab on the Google sheet. Boxy and BTS changed their link to a named hyperlink (=HYPERLINK("link address here","Trade Block"). Good idea, pretty's it up instead of some rando web address. Got me thinking, do we need a column for the link, or do we just make the Organization name the link with the text of the hyperlink the team name (which is referenced from the 'Teams' tab in case of team name change). I did this so everyone could see how they like it, easy to change back if people don't. That got me thinking again, do we even need another tab on the spreadsheet, or do I just change the team names on the 'Prospects & Picks' tabs and the 'Rosters' tabs to be the link to the trade blocks? Only information lost is how recently the block was update, which is information that really should be on the individual trade sheets themselves. The way we have it set up now, an admin would have to update the 'last modified' cell for those who don't have editing access to the doc. I edited my name in the prospects & roster tabs to a hyperlink, so people can see what it would look/function like. Let me know what you all think.
  21. backup catcher should be almost free. 17M for Fowler leaves us with only 8M for BP. We need more unless we want to see Smoak at 1B at lot
  22. AND his least biggest fan! Don't forget those 'worst poster' and 'worst troll' votes. I've got a very hot/cold relationship with Brownie.
  23. I'll get to an offer, don't move to quickly (busy at work)
