  1. I don't think Aaron Sanchez is rookie eligible. He made his first appearance on July 23rd, and stayed up for the rest of the season. That's more than 45 days on the active roster. Does the eligibilty exclude September?
  2. Okay, 1) 2 or 3 days for each poll? 2) Can someone tell me the prospect eligibility of Aaron Sanchez, Daniel Norris, Dalton Pompey considering service time/PA/IP etc.
  3. Ok I'll throw something together
  4. Jeremy Jeffress was good last season
  5. People weren't interested
  6. Kramer Champlin (released in October) suspended 50 games for drug of abuse
  7. Devon Travis #6 on MLB Pipelines top 10 2B prospects list http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/prospects/watch/y2015/#list=2b Scouting Grades: Hit: 60 | Power: 40 | Run: 50 | Arm: 50 | Field: 50 | Overall: 50 Just a year after the Tigers picked him in the 13th round of the 2012 Draft out of Florida State, Travis surprised scouts by finishing second in the Minor Leagues with a .351 batting average and third with 177 hits. An oblique injury hampered him in 2014, but his batting average still ranked in the top 10 in the Eastern League. His success attracted the attention of other teams and, in November, the Blue Jays acquired him in exchange for Anthony Gose. Often overlooked because of his size, Travis simply finds a way to put the bat on the ball. He has a quick, compact swing and controls the barrel of the bat well. He's shown surprising power as a professional and could be good for double-digit home runs every year. Travis is a solid defender at second base, capable of making all the plays required. He earns praise for his instincts and heady play, which allow his tools to play up.

  16. http://news.nationalpost.com/2015/01/23/is-dan-duquette-worth-the-toronto-blue-jays-giving-up-top-draft-pick-jeff-hoffman/ "If Duquette should break his contract for a trip north, a good prospect – not a Hoffman, but a player with robust major-league potential – should go to the Orioles. And perhaps a second player too. MLB should send a message that a team seeking to snatch a rival GM is not entitled to bargain-basement prices." Lotts article on the situation. He must be getting paid by the Orioles.
