I used to post on there for a bit but f*** me there is nothing positive on that website. I thought the GDT were bad sometimes when we were losing, don't ever check their GDT. Like threads called "Does the StroShow blow" "Fire Jacoby" "John Gibbons thread + venting". If you guys get a kick out of people freaking out when we lose, check there forum Does anyone else go on it? "That board is without a doubt the most toxic community I've ever experienced. No joke, I've seen people get banned for asking questions just because the Mods disagree with the premise of the question. My account got banned on my 3rd post because I said that I hate how much Pat and Buck praise opposing players like Jeter and I wish they were bigger homers for the Blue Jays. My 2nd post was also about Buck and Pat but I can't remember what it was and I was banned because the mods said "all you ever talk about is Buck and Pat, we've had enough". Enough? 2 posts? That place is horrible, it attracts the worst of the fan base and it's a perfect example of groupthink. Someone will say something, anything, that runs counter to the board culture and you'll get 10 people replying to you saying "ban" and then you get banned just for not being one of them. The point is that we are going up against good pitchers this series so that we may not be scoring a lot of runs. If that happens, chicken littles will scream the sky is faling at the end of the series, without even giving a second thought as to who we were going up against.

You missed the point of his post entirely. He's saying that if/when the Jays bat poorly this series up against 2 very good pitchers, uninformed fans are going to blame the Jays hitters for being bad rather than just realizing that the SP we are up against are very good. He's not even wishing that we do bad. You know, the same thing that happened when the Jays struckout 10+ times against Price and Kimbrel and Gruber flew off the handle.
