    This board is so bi-polar. The farm is not "sexy", but there's talent there. Also, we're not "A LOT" of moves away. I'm as cynical as anyone on this board, but seriously, if AA just reverted back to the AA he was when he first started as GM, and made let's say 2 really smart moves, we're in this thing again barring injuries.

    I can part with Gose, but giving up Sanchez/Stroman would be tough to swallow if the return isn't big... I could part with one for Shark, but why not just try to lure Garza here, since his buddy Navarro is here already? I find it tough to believe that Garza wouldn't love to come back to the AL East Infante/Franklin/Ackley Garza/Shark (either being the innings eating guy) & Anderson (Anderson being the gamble guy) Perhaps a decent bench bat? Not sure 2B and a SP is pretty mandatory though... If he doesn't address these issues with guys who will add wins, ya might as well kiss the season goodbye before it even begins

    Ranger hitting coaches will turn him into just a bad hitter... Better than the historically god awful one he was here. He'll give this pitching staff fits though. All ex-Jays do. Book it.

    He's already at the top of many Yankee all time hitting stats, and arguably their best 2b ever. He couldn't care less at this point. It's all $$$ to him and that talentless hack Jay-Z.

    There's still part of me that believes that somewhere inside AA, there's a very good GM, and that he was being forced by the higher ups to spend money egregiously last year... Hopefully this is just the start of bigger/better moves

    Agree... I do think Thole is a bit better than what he showed last year, but it sucks not being to send him down even if he blows... Hopefully Kratz comes in here motivated to work with Dickey, and becomes his catcher
