KK picked a good one for his first game to take in, for sure.
Also, Knicks lost by 1 and Denver lost by 1. Everything fell our way last night, what a beautiful thing!
Agreed. My original comment is what I am hoping happens, that he can be tweaked a bit in a positive way. Hopefully resulting in a useful piece for the 25 man
interesting. the way I was looking at it is he's been pretty awful in his career and still managed to be an average hitter vs righties, if he taps into any of his potential he could be a good platoon guy.
taking it you're not a fan of this move?
Looking at his career splits he's been a league average hitter against righties (101 wRC+) despite how terrible he has looked. Could be looking at grooming him into a solid platoon or bench bat.
Oh ya, I didn't mean he hasn't been working on his 3 point shot. It seems like he has a put in a lot of work on his shooting.
He's shooting 45% from the corners this year and only 28% above the break, keep shooting the smart shots Demar!
Demar is shooting 34% this year which I love but I don't really think his shot has really improved a tonne. However his selection has been great. Taking only two per game and the majority coming from the corners where he has been a decent 3pt shooter in the past.
Obviously those stats don't paint him well but he is in the majority of their positive net lineups, I don't think he's quite as bad as you're saying.

I like Miller a lot. Some may think I was robbed but I see a potential 120 wRC+ with multi positions and looks like he should stick at SS. Liriano won't likely be too useful when my window to win comes around. Other offers I received were middle of the road prospects with small pieces added on.
I saw some random stat today, while I know +/- isn't the end all be all, I thought it was interesting. Patterson is 10th in the league in most +20 games and #1 of all bench players
Wow, I totally missed the deGrom trade this offseason. Shocked to see Silvergun move him honestly. Not that it didn't make sense, he plugged a lot of holes and he still has a ridiculous rotation
You'll have to pry that 9th place away from my kung-fu grip!
