Yeah yesterday I was surprised to see Edwin swing at two sliders waaaaay away, as if he was pulling an Arencibia and deciding to swing before the pitch is even thrown.

To be fair, in his SS season he didnt' do well against lefties. He crushed righties though, and that's what he's doing. Don't expect his performance against lefties to change at all. His approach at the plate this season is good and carrying over from ST. He really is being selective and not swinging at bad pitches. And anything hit outside is hit the otherway and not pulled.

BTW, I just realized - Lawrie tried to steal up by 5 runs? I can't remember when that happened but under normal circumstances maybe that wouldn't have been a good move? Then again the Braves are a homer happy team - 5 runs is not safe -

lol why the f*** would he be upset. Thats ridiculous. JP never showboats and E5 has been doing this for a year. Heck, the way Justin Upton reacts after crushing one is just as bad as E5. I wonder what would happen if Bautista crushes one when Gattis is behind the plate -
so Lawrie apologizes to the team but refuses to talk about the incident to the media. I don't think they guy is really apologetic
