From what I hear Kawasaki is average at 2B and Goins is really good. What Kawa has an advantage is his versatility.

Look at his .babip, it's way up there above his norm. He has gotten plenty of lucky hits that I've seen and a lot of dribblers that found a hole. The one that he got yesterday was a dribbler that smacked the computer theft guy. He's going to regress hard, but I suppose we can take that until we trade for someone or Goins settles in and actually contributes offensively.

The movement on his fastball is just so ridiculous that it seems all he has to do is aim for the center of the plate and let the movement do the work. He doesn't have to aim for the corners at all with that fastball. The pitch that Ortiz hit to left field was a perfect example. It was right down the middle but it didn't go there straight, and Ortiz hit it just below. A lot of his fastballs were up so once we start seeing some that are down we'll see a lot more worm killers.
