    It's pretty much like the Donaldson trade. Beane insisted that Lawrie be part of the package, and AA gave in.

    I would try as much as possible to not include Hutch in this deal. Although at the end of the day, if that was the one player blocking this trade, I would give in.

    from rotoworld, Rays could be sellers Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports that the Rays are expected to listen to trade offers for their top relievers. Topkin thinks it's more likely that the club trades away a reliever than it is they add some much-needed offense. He lists Brad Boxberger, Jake McGee and Kevin Jepsen as possibilities to be dealt, with Jepsen "the most likely to go" and Boxberger "likely to be the most sought after." Boxberger isn't eligible for arbitration until after next season, while McGee and Jepsen could both see their salaries go past $5 million via arbitration in 2016.

    Alright well the Indians are not short on pitching. What they do need is good defense and hitting. If I were them I'd ask Norris and Pillar at a minimum. They'd probably want Pompey too, but we can't afford to have a gap in our outfield. Or we could spring another trade to get a controllable LF/CF.

    So why would the Indians even entertain the idea of trading him? :/ I never pictured him as a trade candidate simply because he's not the kind of guy thats available.
