  1. Yeah Miller is reallllly good and all it takes is one lucky homer and they win.
  2. one of the major papers also did a piece on this. Apparently due to the departure of Jeter, this is a team that is hard to cheer for since it doesn't have that one true superstar, and no one really expected them to compete this year. Not to mention that there is an even better story in town in regards to the Mets.
  3. Poor Miller https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/8871/gamelog/
  4. His stuff is good enough, but there are so many instances where relievers just implode out of nowhere. Joakima Soria 2014 2nd half, 2015 Loup, e.t.c.
  5. I believe he specifically said that he has been avoiding the weights this year due to that. He is focusing more on yoga and bodyweight exercises, such as this: http://streamable.com/7gqo edit: this article: http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/toughness-a-distinct-element-of-this-years-blue-jays/ “Where I’ve really been able to improve my body management has been on the little pains and aches by incorporating new systems and methods to my training, like yoga, more kinetic based stuff, functional workouts,” says Bautista, “instead of just weightlifting, which in the off-season is great, because you can create power and endurance, but during the season it’s a little counterproductive because you can create tightness and soreness that might not let you be yourself 100 per cent on a daily basis. So I’ve been doing a lot of stretching, a lot of stress release on my muscles, stuff like that, and that’s allowed me to have my body feeling better on a day to day basis.”
  6. add Lowe to that
  7. I doubt Bautista will approve a trade unless he goes to a perennial winner.
  8. what the f*** is this off day s***
  9. Heyward will most likely get huge contract (7-8 years) but his agent is the same as Grienke's, so expect an opt-out clause at year 3/4. That being said, yeah I would definitely go for him, but I wonder how Bautista will feel about that.
  10. I'm too dumb to understand this all
  11. I think it's too dangerous to travel to Atlanta...
  12. lol coming from the guy who raged that his team wasn't playing well
  13. Mets tied Atlanta with a 3-run homerun after going to 2 outs nobody on in the 9th.
  14. God damnit Travis please come back
  15. Stroman didn't look sharp, but a lot better than this line indicated. He's pretty much in Spring Training form right now, and he had a no hitter heading into the 5th. Two weak ass singles and a bomb ruined his line. From what I saw his curveball was good but he didn't have great control of his four seamer. I didn't see any change-ups tonight.
  16. thx Pillar
  17. its not risky for the Stroman, but for the Jays. You don't know how long he'll go, especially with this patient line-up. I expect 4 innings.
  18. I'm still waiting for Portobello to get destroyed by the BABIP gods. At this point I think we'll have to wait for 2016
  19. I can't wait to see Stroman's change-up. He's been working hard on it extensively.
  20. Shapiro really shouldn't be commenting, he's still employed by the Indians
  21. good find. If anyone hasn't watched Spartacus, you should. The first few episodes have terrible CGI, but it gets reallllly good after that.
  22. Nope. The 2nd slam happened after. But Morales was getting hit around before Davis came to the plate
  23. nsfw for men again: http://i.imgur.com/qDXhea2.gifv
  24. Thankfully we have Ryan "1.3 war so far" Goins
