    Having Delabar on board for only 800k is a good choice. The guy still throws hard and can be a mop-up guy at worst. 2.9 million for a dead guy is absurd

    lol I feel the same. The guy seemed very private but professional. Spoke very eloquently and politely. Kind of like Greg Maddux. His tweets and his constant misuse of your make me think that he has the intellect of Jose Canseco.

    My only problem is that there was no concrete proof that he had taken steroids, so it's unfair to for him to identify Bonds and Clemens in that tweet. And now that Clemens accused Halladay of cheating, it's pretty much the same thing as, say, Jamie Moyer coming out and saying that cheaters like Halladay don't deserve to be in the HOF.

    When I say superior I mean the whole package..offense, defense and most importantly to $hapiro, salary. I don't think Colabello is going to make anywhere close to a million and at that price it is a no brainer to s*** on Alvarez. I would've s*** on Smoak too.

    Pedro Alvarez's calling card is his offense, which we have no need of and would hurt our team a lot more having him play 1B. He is your typical DH and we don't have room. Besides, he will cost a lot and we already wasted a big chunk of dollars on Smoak. Colabello is superior to both.
