    This move is solely because the team has said Bautista is DHing a lot more down the stretch. Smoak doesn't deserve to be on the team, but he is a decent defensive replacement late in games. Smoak signed an extension solely as an emergency option for next year....assuming we resign no one.

    This possibly is what the Yanks are getting for Chapman. Erick Fedde,*Koda Glover*and another prospect. What exactly is our equivalent? I think Chapman would be the perfect fit for us and our pen issues.

    Agreed. If they tried to make the trade for Sale, I think it would center around Stroman and 3-4 minor leaguers not named Vlad.

    Well...we are a very streaky offense that relies way to much on the HR. Right now we are in a huge funk at the wrong time it appears.
