    I disagree. Upton in RF and Bautista at DH is better than Smoak at 1st and Bautista at RF

    I like the 6 man rotation idea with Dickey being the long man on occasion with a quick hook for some of our pitchers. Keep them all rested and strong all the way to the end Also, it really depends on who they get

    I don't think being 4th or 5th is "in" the conversation, but imo they are higher up that Bautista. They are young players that anyone can relate to, work hard, gives it their all, dont act like 2 year Olds and are the future/now of the team.

    I don't give a s*** about what Bautista has to say and would put him 6th in terms of the Face of the Franchise. Donaldson, Stroman, Sanchez, Pillar, and imo Travis are well ahead of Bautista in terms of the Face of the Franchise. Edwin is even equal or higher. Bautista does not represent our team or fans well on the field. It's a new Era beginning and Bautista is on his way out. Might as well get something for him before he goes.

    Goldschmidt is 6'3 225...and stole only 4 in rookie ball but can get 15-20 in the mlb. Anything is possible still.

    Then more people would have SB numbers like Vlad. It doesn't mean he will steal 20-30 bases in the MLB, but it shows he has speed and is a good baserunner.

    Upton Jr isn't equivalent but overall value similar. What if we could get an impact starter or someone like Giolito to pitch when Sanchez goes to the pen. Isn't that making us better now?
