  1. Guess the cutter down the middle didn't work either lmao
  2. When 91 over the plate doesn't work...try 91 over the middle of the plate
  3. SP needs help. Can't have Roark and Anderson going imo
  4. Roark and Anderson do not need to be starting imo
  5. Huge comeback...let's do this!
  6. They weren't from what I saw
  7. .000000001 above average is still a tick above average lmao
  8. he went 4-30ish when they changed his hand placement. Went back this week. Making more contact and hard contact again, just needs to get more of them in the air
  9. Well he was just clocked at just above league average
  10. Changing the goalposts isn't a good look. All groundballs cant be bad and then now they are good lmao. Vlad isn't slow, actually a tick above average i believe. He just hits the ball too hard Never said same player, just showing the people crying about GB% that its OK for a 21 year old who never tried to hit HRs in the minors. Other top young MLB players have similar GB%. If the balls he hit the wall on were slightly .01 higher in launch angle he would have 14 ish HRs. The crying is a joke. Let the coaches work with him and he will be right where we all thought he would be
  11. Soto: 54% GB% his rookie year and 53% this year. Guess he is a bust
  12. Wouldn't know that by reading the board lol
  13. It has over and over. People crying the same thing over and over doesnt make it any more fact or worth debating at length over and over. They are working on the launch angle and his ground ball% isn't much different than Tatis for example (47% last year and 46% this year). He gets pitched tougher than just about anyone. A solid 40 games in a season encompassing a worldwide pandemic is respectable, especially cause we don't know what happened when everyone was in quarantine, what they could work on etc. He has some things that need tweaking, but what 21 year old doesn't.
  14. He is a solid 21 year old on pace for 20+ homers in a full season. Looks like a star in the making to me Also, his GB% is 54%
  15. Vlad: 103 MPH and 105 MPH ground outs
  16. Yep, it will come. Still on pace for 20+ homers in 162 games. This last like 4-30 stretch came when they lowered his hands. Last 3 games it has changed back and he has looked better. I still think he overswings at times causing the groundballs
  17. Id also add, if Vlad hasn't hit the wall so much for singles, just a minute change in launch angle he would have like 7 more HRs than he does. He has been good for a 21 year old who is trying to change launch angle during the season, while learning a new position and being pitched very carefully compared to others
