I wonder what Tabata would cost, at least has some tools to work with, no non-regressed platoon splits to speak of really. Not a great defender in the OF though

I don't see much difference in Redmond vs Rogers from a results standpoint. Totally different pitchers in that Redmond is far more about mixing pitches and command, while Rogers is more of a power pitcher. Rogers has better overall stuff I think, but Redmond knows how to make his stuff play up.

I think the point the folks are trying to make, other team's guys don't need their own thread when this one is already here to discuss players and other things from Around Baseball. Jose Tabata is rumoured to be available from Pittsburgh, as is John Mayberry from Philly. If every player had their own thread, the board would become incredibly cluttered

Agree here, with capable arms to take over Janssen's role and a guy like Stilson who's clearly ready to contribute in a pen role, there's really no reason not be trading Janssen. Problem is, the FO thinks Janssen is somehow not replaceable in this BS window of contention -
