They've cut off 2 promising young starter's development by sticking them in the pen which is a position on a major league team that makes the least amount of difference in winning and losing in the big picture. this is a short term solution that MAY be better, but is all but guaranteed to harm their long term development.

This is kinda dumb... why stunt a promising starter's growth and development by fast tracking him as a pen arm.... This doesn't make sense. Methinks i'll be writing a breaking blue article about this

I can vouch that this is accurate. While I'm obviously not a doctor, I process short term disability claims for a living and a torn meniscus is a common claim. When processing claims we have access to a medical database that uses historical data to give us recovery times for pretty much any surgery, and a meniscus repair(either open or arthroscopic) is a much longer recovery time than an arthroscopic meniscectomy. A repair for someone like an athlete would be 140 days (maximum) Arthroscopic meniscectomy, 84 days maximum. That assumes no complications or setbacks. Basically 12 weeks vs 20 weeks

I've been done with Vasquez for a while now. He canot run the Offense. Use him as a shooter in brief spurts or once in a whIle give him the ball for a possession to change things up, but long stretches of him as the point is just horrible

I liked everything I saw tonight until the second unit came and and went into stupid 3 ball chucking mode. This team really needs a legit backup pg, not two fake pgs who can't run the offense in Vasquez and williams.

He's thinking of investigating it and taking a look. Not planning on changing it. Would be a mistake imo, as they said on the broadcast you need the regional interest every year or you run the risk of losing huge portions of the country's interest in the game if those regional teams are all bad one or two years. There's certainly room to have the conversation though and try to make the system better
