  1. It was pretty classic, but a true Spanky post would have called him a bike, or an uphill gardener at the end
  2. I'll use my double down today. Was such a god awful s***** day at work, the universe owes me one.
  3. Dammit, if the MLB hears about his PEG use (performance enhancing glasses), they'll be banned in the next CBA.
  4. Not really much difference between your posts and what you do in the toilet bowl.
  5. We have put it in the bank for 4 seasons. When his defense inevitably slows down as he ages, he'll be a bench rider for the remainder of his career
  6. Well Danny Jansen is officially an idiot. In what might be his final AB and having a chance for the cycle, needing a double, he goes and hits a solo HR. f***in' clown. Hopefully this goes to extras so he can redeem himself
  7. Don't hold your breath. Pillar is all D and no bat and that's how it is. It's not even that he doesn't have the bat to ball skills to be a better hitter, he's just dumb as f*** in what he chooses to swing at.
  8. Jansen with a single, just needs a double for the cycle. Will get another AB in the 9th
  9. His bat really doesn't even play in CF...
  10. And all of next season and beyond. Alford in RF or LF with Pillar in CF would greatly improve the outfield defense from the current cluster f*** that it is. Alford could play CF also but I doubt they shift Pillar yet
  11. Jansen also has a triple, so he's got the hard half of the cycle completed already by the top of the 4th.
  12. Alford just hit his 5th HR
  13. I had literally just typed this same thing word for word just as you did.
  14. I don't think they'd make any JD decisions based on Vladdy at this point. There's still enough of a question mark around his 3b D that it's no sure thing he's a 3b long term
  15. Not that we need anymore Vladdy porn, but ... Over his last 10 he's hitting .417 with 3 HR, 11 RBI, 6 walks and 6 Ks. Overall slash line up to .336/.456/.492, wRC+ of 180 As an 18 year old.... in one of the most pitching friendly leagues in the minors.
  16. Not saying he deserves it, but he's a MIF already on the 40 man
  17. Pretty much any pitcher who isn't hurt, plus Alford, Smith Jr, maybe Urena and Jansen
  18. Seems aggressive to me though maybe they think the hitter haven California League wouldn't really tell them anything if he was moved there
  19. Tatis Jr was skipped overy High A and will report to AA as an 18 year old. Good or bad move?
  20. So, over the last 10 games, the Jays are 7-3. At the start of the Yankees series, which started this 7-3 run, the jays were 5 games out with 7 teams in front of them for the 2nd wildcard. 10 games later after playing .700 ball, they've gained 2 games, but still have 7 teams either ahead or tied with them as 2 of those other teams have also gone 7-3. I like optimism, but the odds are still very long
  21. Osuna is a dicey situation. It's arguable that the jays could make another push towards the playoffs next year with a few moves. If the needed moves happen and theres even some chance of a bounce back from Tulo, travis being healthy more than 10 minutes. ...then maybe hanging onto Osuna makes sense. Plus, if they're again out of it by the deadline, he's very tradeable assuming his arm hasn't blown out
  22. So would that be ball 1 or ball 2?
