  1. We'll see how the season finishes, but yeah, so far this is pretty top shelf.
  2. Yeah the Brewer's blew a 3-0 lead... *******s.
  3. Bass should come out with a Pride rainbow in his beard.
  4. Sure, but using that as an example doesnt really equate to baseball, the sport is far different from a physical perspective than hockey, the NBA or football. A ball player would have nearly 0 need to do the kind of thing hockey guys do between innings or after the game (maybe the catcher's would benefit a bit as they're always in a squat?). look at Thor as an example. Dude went off the rails a few years ago and bulked up in his upper torso, and is now as ripped as can be as a pitcher, but him building all that muscle in the upper half of his body in the arms makes no sense from a pitching standpoint. Pitchers want strong cores and legs ( i know you know...) but for their arms they want long and lean muscles. He bulked his muscles up, and is now a shadow of his former self, laregly due to injury after injury that he suffered after he changed his body in a way that is counterproductive to the motions he uses as a pitcher. MLB guys during the season (imo) should be far more concerned with maintenance than doing anything to change their bodies in any meaningful way. If Manoah or Kirk want to lose weight, they absolutely should, but they need to do that s*** in the offseason and then switch up their regimens to a maintenance thing during the season. The season is way too long and way too much of a grind to be worried about calorie surplusses and/or deficits on a daily or even weekly basis.
  5. I'm sorry, have you met people?
  6. Its smart. It basically puts the entire problem of Bass being a homophobe to bed completely as far as the public is concerned.
  7. June 8 Bichette - 1 Point Varsho - 2 Points - wilko Springer - 2 Points Belt - 2 Points Vladdy - 3 Points - Abomimation Chapman - 3 Points Jays4life69 Kirk - 4 Points - Dylan, JohnHavok Merrifield - 6 Points - jaysblue, Stangstag Kiermaier - 7 Points Espinal - 7 Points - Jonn Off the bench: 10 Points
  8. June 8th Jays matchup #'s vs Framber
  9. Williams also hti 37 HRs that year he hit .400. Arraez has 0 chance of that.
  10. Of course they will. Maybe not as many as would 10 years ago, but there will be plenty. Just like if Vlad had actually won the meaningless triple crown a few years ago, he would have got more 1st place votes. Myabe not enough to win it from Ohtani, but probably would have been a lot closer.
  11. 2021 2022 2023 so far
  12. Kevin Gausman's ... for comparison's sake
  13. Doing what they do between periods and games is not for fitness, it's getting rid of lactic acid buildup in the muscles (mostly the legs) from constantly being at 75-100% effort in the game with minimal rest. Ball players wouldnt have that problem.
  14. Probably doesnt hurt, that's for sure.
  15. It's probably not good. Here's Bassitts though. Not really enough data to make any judgements on the 4th time through, but 1-3 seems to be little meaningfuol difference. Either way, with that top of the order and how theyd been hitting him it was probably a good pull.
  16. Another theory is that he’s just not a good base runner, since he never has been. He’s never been this bad, but he’s usually below average on the bases when all is said and done. Keep in mind he’s below average in footspeed, just slightly ahead of Vlad in terms of feet/s. Arraez 26.3, Vlad 26.1
  17. Stuff like that is off-season work. In season eating, nutrition and exercise is vastly different than off season
  18. Hey mod guy, clean up the spam
  19. not the worst acid trip I’ve ever had…
  20. I missed the whole game, like I’m gonna scroll backwards in the gdt…lol
  21. I think the chances of Vlad dropping down the lineup is about the same chances as Springer earlier this season when he was awful
  22. He said nearly 460 feet. 114.8 mph off the bat. Destroyed that pitch “That ball had a family!!”
  23. Brandon Belt comments postgame when asked what he has learned about Chris Bassitt in the last few days: “I learned he needs to have more babies.”
  24. Orioles being spanked by the Brewers too. Nice
