  1. Heh, they always are. Nobody ever remembers the good.
  2. Just sayin, I can honestly only count …3-5 times this season where the move was questionable. The rest is just pitchers throwing like trash. This reputation of him constantly making bad pitching moves is still mostly just leftover vitriol from 2022
  3. Nice play by Bo to finish it up. Looking smooth out there
  4. Can make all the right calls in the world, if your pitchers come in and just can’t throw strikes and just hit batters and give up HRs …what can ya do? Can’t run Mayza and Romano out every night. Even Swanson has started walking the planet lately.
  5. No sane person would, 5 run lead or not. Cimber looks about cooked these days.
  6. Man Cimber has just lost his command. Dude is all over the place
  7. This ump been like this all game? Doesn’t call the high strikes but loves the ones below the knees?
  8. Lol, ump is blind as f*** against Biggio there. 3 bad calls in one PA. Hard to really fault him for striking out looking there
  9. That might be Merrifields first time caught stealing 3rd in the last 3 years.... bad timing I get the thought process, dude is having a rough inning, you think he will so focused on the hitter you can get a giant leap on him... just sucks to take the foot off his neck.
  10. Lets goooooooooo, bat around this inning capped with a Biggio HR please.
  11. oh lord Yelich has a trash can for an arm. Run on him all night long please.
  12. Great PA from Belt. Wait this guy out and you will get on base, or something in the wheelhouse to hit
  13. Can we get an over/under on the number of ground balls Vlad hits tonight? 1 for 1 so far and it gets through for an RBI
  14. Houser is the kind of guy you can hit and run on more often. He doesnt whiff many guys, lots of contact will be on the ground.
  15. Gopher ball-itis. Every mistake is over the wall.
  16. Hope we get the good version of Kikuchi tonight, he's been a bit off lately.
  17. 18. More like mocking. Can't wait for them to complain about me mocking them.
  19. I think he loves signing guys with less than 2 years service time to ridiculously team friendly deals even more.
  20. Nunez (22 yo) numbers before the callup- 122 wRC+, 10% walk rate, 19% K rate. .309/.390/.446 with 3 HRs Williams (22 yo) numbers before the callup- 135 wRC+, 10% walk rate, 21% K rate. .273/.362/.480 with 7 HRs TJ Brock (23 yo): 20.1 IP, 13.72 K/9, 3.98 BB/9, xFIP 3.39, ERA 1.77
  21. It's largely driven by the lease. Jays made some pretty large upgrades years ago to the sound, scoreboards and the big jumbotron, and are just now upgrading all those other things like the social spaces, retail spaces etc. The fact that other parks are doing it makes it required. " the Brewers lease requires the stadium district to pay for improvements present in at least 75% of all other Major League Baseball stadiums. The lease also says the district must replace or repair infrastructure items consistent with the replacement items of the top 25% of all MLB parks."
  22. If we don't it would clearly be the result of systemic issues within the organization and everyone should be fired, from the ushers all the way up to Shapiro, and Rogers should be forced to sell the team.
  23. Miller's 20 year naming rights agreement expired in 2021. American Family Insurance signed a 15 year agreement when it did. As for the renovations, Manfred doesn't want the park to be functionally irrelevant when the lease expires in 2030. It's not really a "do it or the team will move in 2030" kind of ultimatum, be doesn't want another Oakland situation where the stadium is in such a state that people don't want to come to the park. here's a link to explain some of the renovations: https://www.jsonline.com/story/money/real-estate/commercial/2023/02/16/american-family-fields-448-million-renovation-costs-broken-down/69907300007/
