  1. That strikeout on Springer was 100% made possible by the umps s***** strike zone
  2. Can’t disagree with anything there.
  3. Deserves is not the right word at all. If MLB wanted any credibility with the voting process they’d limit the ability to vote for clearly undeserving candidates
  4. It’s almost to the point where being an all star means nothing. It’s a sad state
  5. Jesus f***ing christ Buck, if people are voting Merrifield as an all star they need to give their head a shake. He’s a nice above average utility guy but he’s not even close to what an all star should be
  6. Oakland gets close calls, not Bassitt tho…
  7. Bassit should be able to take advantage of this s*** zone by the ump.
  8. What’s really bad about the strike zone, it takes away from the Jays skills, it doesn’t really take away from Oaklands.
  9. Praise the flying f***ing spaghetti monster Vladdy goes deep! Wry +3+1
  10. It’s umps like this that Give shitballer like Kaprelian the illusion that they’re good
  11. This type of lineup is one that Bassitt should smoke if he has even remotely close to his good stuff.
  12. June 23 Bichette - 1 Point Varsho - 2 Points - Wilko Springer - 2 Points Belt - 2 Points - J4L19 Vladdy - 3 Points - WryNGinger Chapman - 3 Points - Jonn Jansen - 3 Points - Spanky Merrifield - 6 Points - Abomination Kiermaier - 7 Points - Candy Maldonado, JohnHavok Off the bench: 10 Points - Omar, JaysAllMighty
  13. Here’s the #1 expected NBA draft pick Wemby holding a baseball…
  14. Yeah, but it's as general as it can be. if it was related to throwing a bat after a strikeout or not running out a grounder or something like that you'd think it would have been done much closer to the actual event. It's probably something else but obviously when a star like him is being held out, he has to say something when the reporters ask. General comments are all anyone is ever going to get. Local beat reporters wouldn't air any real dirty laundry
  15. “Over the course of this season there’s been probably multiple times that the way he has handled his frustrations have not been the way that we ask our players to uphold being the best teammate.” - Kevin Cash
  16. Name the Blue Jays player that handles his frustrations poorly and is a bad teammate.
  17. NL central isnt far behind. It looks better right now with the Reds having a recent 10 game winning streak, but let's be real, it's still easily the 2nd worst division in baseball.
  18. I know it's a tad early, but looking ahead to the trade deadline... is this year shaping up to be an exciting deadline or ... dull ? Look at the garbage divisions like either leagues Central... teams that are under .500 could feasibly still be in contention for the division titles and a playoff spot, so ... will there be far fewer teams that are pure sellers? Right now, obviously Oakland, White Sox, Tigers, Nats, Rockies and Cardinals are probably the only pure sellers, though the PIrates are rapidly falling into that category recently. Every other team in baseball you could probably make the case to be buyers or tweakers.
  19. Best pitchers in the league last season. This year he's been rather pedestrian. Strikeouts are down, walks and hits are both up. Not a good recipe for continued success.
  20. We were never bad. 4th and 5th place teams in the AL East are still better than all but a few select teams in the rest of the league.
  21. These are all winnable series with the not outlandish chance of sweeps against Oakland, Detroit and Chicago. 9-6 would be the absolute minimum I would see as acceptable as the Boston series will be tough regardless.
