You guys complain about Gibby all you want, but Bannister has been a train wreck this game. At the most critical point in the game he uses his mop-up guy and then puts in his best reliever down by 4. Absurd mismanagement.

I would put Sanchez in for the 9th, save Osuna for 2 innings tomorrow.

If you could get 4-5 innings from Dickey and then throw Price in there, the Rangers would be completely discombobulated. Then you have Stroman for game 5.

Well...I guess if Lowe got into trouble, you want that lefty to face Choo. Once he was up, you just go with him. Not that I agree by any means. -

Joe Torre's explanation just makes this decision sound even worse. Joe: "Well..uh...I can't worry about what happened in the past" Yes you can! Rule enforcement in-season can't be inconsistent, ESPECIALLY in the post-season. Few other than knuckleheads like Zaun like to see this, but they have let it go forever and they have to live with that mistake.
